Yes, John D. Loudermilk wrote a little number called "Windy and Warm." It's a guitar instrumental. John D. never released a version of it. Chet Atkins got it from him and made it famous; others like Tommy Emmanuel, Richard Smith, and Doc Watson have covered it and expanded upon the original idea. I have 9 versions in my large collection of acoustic guitar instrumentals. I really like this melody.<br /><br />I don't know a thing about any of his other songs that feature lyrics.
