I saw THE TRIAL OF BILLY JACK twice, and the second time realized how stultifyingly dull--except for a couple of set pieces--it really was. And in retrospect I saw how both movies deliberately bypassed the brain and went straight for the balls, or somewhere. I've never seen BILLY JACK GOES TO WASHINGTON, though it shows up on late-night broadcasts once in a while, or Laughlin's non-Billy Jack movie THE MASTER GUNFIGHTER.
