Sounds like a winner though.<br />And Bill, I am ashamed to say I missed your mention of our book but just went back to it. Thank you so much! This seems especially true of the old Harlequin mysteries.Evan Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07620731784654779358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-86818671851629210772010-02-19T10:07:54.158-06:002010-02-19T10:07:54.158-06:00That last one has the great "needle cover,&qu...That last one has the great "needle cover," doesn't it?mybillcriderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02350478005243505108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-70359779678846264242010-02-19T09:51:23.136-06:002010-02-19T09:51:23.136-06:00This was the first Day Keene novel that I read. But it did get me to read more of Day Keene's work. And after I read more, he became one of my favorite authors. Novels that I really enjoyed - "Joy House," Bring Him Back Dead," "Take a Step to Murder," "There Was A Crooked Man" and "Home Is the Sailor." Also with a great cover,"If the Coffin Fits."August Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11797743144228505958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-51178058862502354242010-02-19T08:42:39.678-06:002010-02-19T08:42:39.678-06:00I was too lazy to scan my own copy, Rick, so that&...I was too lazy to scan my own copy, Rick, so that's the image I pulled from the Munsey's site. The book sounds interesting, and I;ll bet it doesn't run much past 110 pages and probably doesn't need to. Does the ending wrap it up or do the characters (those still alive) just kind of wander away, something I've seen in other Keene books?Richard Robinsonhttp://brokenbullhorn.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-42332156147298952672010-02-19T08:29:56.804-06:002010-02-19T08:29:56.804-06:00I'm getting more and more tempted to buy a Kin...I'm getting more and more tempted to buy a Kindle.Georgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04546161337366365635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-87900953470016378122010-02-19T07:36:27.697-06:002010-02-19T07:36:27.697-06:00It is amazing you can get older books on Kindle an...It is amazing you can get older books on Kindle and that does serve quite a good use.pattinase (abbott)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02916037185235335846noreply@blogger.com
