My parents live in coastal Georgia and I-95 is pretty bad there too.<br /><br />I drive the I-12 on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain almost every day and it can also be pretty crappy (I can also see & hear it in the distance from my front yard, but that's another story), but I don't understand the writer's comment about drivers being distracted by Lake Pontchartrain to the south.
