After its serialization, TROS OF SAMOTHRACE was originally published in one fat volume; I believe Avon was the first publisher to issue it in four parts. Later on Zebra (I think) issued it in three; I was amused by their description of the books as being "In the tradition of Robert E. Howard!" Howard, of course, was inspired by Mundy, and not (as far as I know) the other way round. Note that LIAFAIL is a palindrome...Mike Stammnoreply@blogger.com
