LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT is just inept. Even the slicked up remake is a better film, but one might as well see THE VIRGIN SPRING, which is much more powerful since it's well-made. M...Birth of A Nation is the only one I've seen. My high school Great Books teacher took a dozen of his students (me included) into L. A. To see it.
