When I read...I don't think we took a chance at all. When I read <I>Drive</I> I was so blown away that I spent two years telling Jim that if he couldn't sell it elsewhere we'd do it in a heartbeat. I finally communicated the same message to his agent who I think finally concluded that a few bucks advance and getting the work published was better than the alternative. It's starting to look like this will be Jim's best score yet and frankly we're ecstatic.
