She was an author I really liked and respected,not having met her but through her work. I suppose her son Todd will try to continue the Pern series, but his efforts so far in that regard have been mediocre at best.<br /><br />I started a survey of all her Pern books on my blog, but only got through about 6 of the books before I ran out of steam.
