The Patriot, but not 1776?

Not!

Get rid of The Patriot, substitute The Draughtman's Contract.

Wikipedia says The Draughtsman's Contract is set in 1694, so not technically the 1700s, but I'm not going to quibble about a mere six years.

It's always an exercise in futility to argue with someone else's Top 10, but THE PATRIOT and not DW
Griffith's AMERICA? FRANKENSTEIN?? Whaa--?? Was this version set in the 1700s?? No SCARAMOUCHE or TALE OF TWO CITIES?

There's a reason why the tag line "I'm sure you'll all agree" exists.

Not big on DeNiros Frankenstein. Glad to see Barry Lyndon and Perfume on the list. Love those movies. Glad to see 1776 didn't make the list.Hate that movie. Never seen the Draughtmans Contract, Jefferson in Paris or Casanova.

I would have added Michael Mann's Last of the Mohicans.
