My Dad used to say variations of this all the time I was growing up. He snapped a lot of pictures on trips and whatnot which were converted into slides. There are literally 100s of those slide projector carousel things in the house now.
I had a thought the other night that if one were to go through them and put them in order it might be possible to create a sort of pictorial history of about a dozen national parks over about fifty years. I just wish I had thought of this while he was still with us.
I am also pretty sure Dad never once ate a cheese doodle. I was in college before I had one.

Those slides are a great record of the parks a some years ago. I hope that someday you can organize them.
