Bill, only to the extent that there was an ERB, there was a Tarzan, and there's a Tarzana. The rest of it is baloney.
Well, crud. So much for my cherished believe about how Tarz got his name from the town.
I don't know where these people got their story. Irwin Porges' wonderful, extensively documented bio of Burroughs has the true facts.
I love that book. Been 40 or so years since I read it, though. Time to take another look.
