Gee, those bookcases look strangely familiar. Of course, I would never do anything like that. Of course, yesterday a book arrived and when I went to shelve it with the other Richard Stark paperbacks I was surprised to discover I already had a copy of the same book in the same Hard Case Crime edition. Fortunately, the new one was in much better condition (the other was ex-lib, though nice), so I can consider it an upgrade, right?
Photos 2 & 3 ("special moment") look strangely familiar to me. If fact, if I turn my head 120 degrees left as I type this, the spitting image of photo 2 appears in three dimensions as if it were right there. A similar sensation occurs if I walk up my stairs and at the top do a left oblique into the room there. How odd. What can this deja vu mean?
Wait, I need another hint. I recognize you in one of the pictures, though. And how come when I walk around the room it's as though the bookshelves are watching me?

Um, what were we talking about again?
Upgrades are good. I consider those necessary purchases.
To be a true bookaholic you must admit that you have a problem. And if someone has a problem with books, that's a problem. Catch-22.

It means my daughter is sneakier with her camera than I suspected.

It's not the watching that's a problem. It's when they topple that you're in trouble.
That whole thing looks all too familiar...not that I have a problem...
Nice piece. Who'd have thought there would be people with so many books? Yes, I have a few, well, maybe more than a few, but still.
Shades of the Samoian house.
