Hollywood Reporter: Tommy Kelly, who starred as the mischievous Missouri boy immortalized by Mark Twain in David O. Selznick’s 1938 film The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, has died. He was 90.
The Tommy Kelly-David O. Selznick version of TOM SAWYER was great. As a little kid, I saw it somewhere (school?) in color (we had a B&W TV), and Victor Jory scared the hell out of me when he was trying to kill Tom in the cave.

I saw it on TV in B&W, and Jory is just as scary.
I saw it in a theater and loved it.
