Man wrote a lot (http://www.stopyourekillingme.com/B_Authors/Brown_Carter.html), and while none of it was (imo) great, everything of his I've read was quite readable. He did dialogue very well. Any of those books get turned into movies?
No movies as far as I know.
I wasn't that fond of the books, but boy, did they have great covers!
