Ferdinand von Lindemann, who proved that pi is transcendental, is one of my mathematical ancestors (the advisor of my advisor of my advisor, etc.). I, on the other hand, proved that I am transcendental.
Hope you wrote that proof down somewhere and didn't just refer to it in the margins of some book 8-)
Like Pierre de Fermat, much of what I do is marginal.
