For anyone who's unaware of it, this is "High Sierra" remade as a western. Personally, I think it's a better movie.
Well, I'm a Bogie fan, but I also like Joe McCrea. I'm glad I can watch both of them.
You're right, MP; maybe it's the western garb, but this is tough and gritty where SIERRA gets too mushy. And the train robbery is a thrilling bit alkl by itself.
