DaRK PaRTY ReVIEW has published a review (natch) of the very first Sheriff Dan Rhodes book. That's the one with the feral pigs. Oh, wait. All of them have feral pigs.
Congrats on the positive ink, but this guy's just learning what many of us have known for deacdes--that you're not only a fine chronicler of rural Texas life but a notable mystery talent as well. As for delightful, I'd add delicious and delovely, too.

Nice review of yours but Josh Bazell may say "Ouch!"
For my money, you can never have too many feral pigs.
Why aren't the feral pigs as delightful as the author?
I agree that you can never have too many feral pigs. I must, or I'd stop writing them into the books.
I'm about as delightful as a feral pig, Jerry, or marginally less so.

WV: couty. A French germ.
I'm blushing, Cap'n.
Feral pigs, no. Feral cats, yes.
So THAT'S where I made my mistake.
Does Rhodes get beat-up in the first one? By a girl?
No, by feral pigs.
