I would have guessed that were a little further apart, 50 or 60 yards, but with a kid's memory, who knows? I vividly remember these signs. From 1961 to 1968, my family drove from Indiana (and later Pennsylvania) to Colorado to visit my grandparents in Colorado during my dad's vacation in summer, and starting in western Kansas or somewhere, these signs were everywhere. I would swear they were there by the side of the road--Highway 36, in those pre-Interstate 80 days--longer than 1963, though.Mike Stammnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-23519933133282909722017-05-12T09:23:42.147-05:002017-05-12T09:23:42.147-05:00Thanks, Todd and Jeff. Thanks, Todd and Jeff.mybillcriderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02350478005243505108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-63863288281641669012017-05-12T09:02:50.792-05:002017-05-12T09:02:50.792-05:00Clif's link.
