We used to go to Disney World when it firs...Agreed. We used to go to Disney World when it first opened in the early 1970s. They had a strictly-enforced maximum capacity and if you got there too late you were turned away. Lines were shorter, but once Space Mountain opened, all bets were off and lines got longer. I went after it had been open about two weeks, and though yes, there were lines, the Jungle Ride and the Matterhorn, both E-ticket rides, were the longest, as I recall, about 20-25 minutes. Mr. Toad, Peter Pan and Snow White were shorter lines.
