It's the corporatist way. Some actually try to improve their companies, but they often don't get far, or if they do improve them and still manage to make themselves and their cronies rich, they're praised to high heaven even if, like Lee Iacocca, they did so with a similar government bail-out payment.Todd Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01815516018079824802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-6500759359334537952008-09-30T09:14:00.000-05:002008-09-30T09:14:00.000-05:00Wonder how all this would have played out if the t...Wonder how all this would have played out if the term Investment had been used instead of "Bailout"?Lazy Trainerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00200239149419339470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3668066.post-39786930377766901342008-09-30T07:55:00.000-05:002008-09-30T07:55:00.000-05:00Supposedly there'll be a rebound this morning.Supposedly there'll be a rebound this morning.B. O tempera, O mores! I made it through 1972 on $800. I starved, but I made it. But seriously, I imagine my little retirement investment is looking a little flat right now, too. I can at least bask in the happy knowledge that the CEO's who helped create this mess are safe with their multimillion-dollar golden parachutes. UP THE REVOLUTION!
