O'Keefe, who is responsible for just about all of the covers found on the 200 or so Ramble House books. The Blue Spruce Restaurant was a watering hole for oil bidness people back in the 50s and my three brothers and I spent many an evening in the car outside while our father hobnobbed inside with his cronies. The sign in the cover was designed by me but it was more of a neon monstrosity that flashed red, blue and green in a pattern that my brothers and I knew well. Nowadays people would say we were being abused but we knew it was just Tucker being Tucker. Kids were tough in those days.
