Isn't "superstar" rather overstating it? I remember him being published in some cheesy Lancer Books edition.

THE DOLLY, DOLLY SPY (first novel) came out from Dell in paper, sold zillions.

I liked them.
Five or ten years ago, I discovered there was a last book I hadn't known about ("Think Inc.") for a reasonable price, used, which I ordered..
The first three were by far the best imo. There was a longer gap between the third and fourth then had been the pattern, which can mean boredom with a series has set in with an author...
