If I weren't dieting today, I'd go have one in his honor. Heck, I may do so anyway.

The Big Mac was obviously a copy of the Big Boy. I ate a bunch of Big Boys in the '60s and loved them. I haven't had one in many years, though; there aren't any Big Boy Restaurants anywhere around here now.

I had a few Big Macs in the '70s and they were pretty darn good. Having a fit of nostalgia a few months ago, I went to our local Mickey D's and ordered one. It was $4, worth about $2 just in terms of the amount of food, and it was horrible. I am so done with McDonalds.

Yeah, you're right. At my age, I should know better!

He owes his longevity to never having eaten Big Macs.

I rarely eat them. For some reason I get diarrhea within an hour of having one. Some with Little Ceasar's pizza.

Never liked the Frisch's Big Boy. Never liked the Whopper (never much liked any of MD's burgers--or BK's, or W's for that matter). Most low-end chain restaurants don't do good burgers, because they don't start with really good beef (or use really good cheese), and they all insist on putting catsup and (bad) pickles on them. Bad, bad things to eat.

Not that I haven't eaten some of them...
