I usually find Don Henley eye-rollingly pretentious (even though I love the Eagles and even some of Don's solo songs), but that was a surprisingly good interview and I'm glad he gave plenty of credit to Glen Frey.

I remember buying each of the albums (at the local Licorice Pizza) as they were released, going home, putting them on the turntable and listening to each one over and over. I never got tired of those albums, have them all on CD now and still play them a lot. Loved the article. Still, I've not been tempted to buy that last one, Long Road From Eden. MY Eagles music stops with Long Rin. Then I listen to Frey and Henley on their own albums, or at least the first couple by each of them.
