Also inexplicably missing: The Party at Kitty and Stud's. A classic!

I've seen three of the five: Nighthawks, Victory and Copland. All three are good, and I think Copland is one of the best movies Stallone has been in.

Nobody should se those, Bill! Well, I haven't see RHINESTONE but the other was appalling.

Good one, Deb.I'm sure everyone remembers his early turn in BANANAS.

I've seen 4 of the 5. PARADISE ALLEY is the fifth.

You guys have seen more of those than I have, but I've seen both RHINESTONE and STOP OR MY MOM WILL SHOOT.

What about the arm wrestling movie?

Oh, yeah. I've forgotten the title, but I saw that one, too.

Over-the-Top!

Right. How could I forget?

COPLAND?! Stallone played the Wagner of American composers?!?!??

And what about BANANAS (1971) ?

Check up there, Dan. I mentioned that earlier today.

I can't imagine anyone recommending NIGHTHAWKS or VICTORY, two real stiffs. Haven't seen the others. At least they didn't include the abysmal GET CARTER.

OVER THE TOP:

Sly Stallone really believed in this movie.
He staged it at an actual thumb-wrestling tournament in Las Vegas.
His best line wasn't in the movie; Sly got it off during an interview:

"You've got guys here from M.I.T., and you've got guys here who can't spell M.I.T."

Clearly he was hoping for a wide audience ...
