24. We don't have any in New York so I know nothing about them.

They're a Texas chain. Angela has to have a Whataburger when she visits from California.

We are lucky to have Whataburger in North FL. One of the original A frames is less than a block from my house, so I'm greeted by the smell of breakfast cooking every morning as I leave for work. I try to stay away from fast food, but Whataburger lures me in at least once a month.

One of my daughters was recently in San Antonio for a band trip and she was so excited about getting her first What-a-Burger she even posted a photo of herself with her burger-fries combo.

I'm glad to hear that the fame of a great franchise is known beyond the borders of Texas. I didn't know there was a Whataburger in Florida. That's good news.

There's a Whataburger chain in North Carolina that is not connected to the Texas chain. When I moved to NC over twenty years ago, I was told that the NC chain is owned by a cousin of the owners of the Texas chain and they had gotten his permission to use the name.

Do they also use the menu?

I've lived in both North Carolina and Texas so I've eaten at both chains; to the best of my memory, they do not use the same menu.
