I Want to Believe!

Brains of elderly slow because they know so much: The brains of older people only appear to slow down because they have so much information to compute, much like a full-up hard drive, scientists believe.

And supposedly they are in the process of knowing how to remove some of the stuff we don't need to know anymore. Like the lyrics to all those sixties songs and the plots of Gilligan's Island.
