Um...a busted pilot isn't actually a "special"...and how anyone could focus solely on Coppola/Cage in a cast boasting also Crispin Glover and actually sane young actor Jill Schoelen (perhaps best-known for the original THE STEPFATHER), along with such a vaguely familiar face as latter-day Mousketeer/sitcom veteran Julie Piekarski (the other kids didn't managed to pick up too many more credits) bespeaks of someone who perhaps watched VALLEY GIRL as well as GHOST RIDER an unhealthy number of times...

And I didn't even mention Jackie Mason as apparently some sort of high-school plenipotentiary. And Glover's the protagonist/narrator...
