There was another Declaration of Independence find some years ago. Even more incredible than the one mentioned here.

Seems a guy and his wife saw a painting at a flea market. They didn't really care for the painting, but the frame was something they'd been looking for. They haggled with the vendor and got him down to $4.

When they got home, they started to take out the painting, but the frame fell apart, only to reveal an original copy of the Declaration of Independence stuffed behind the painting. The copy was one of 500 printed on July 4, 1776. They were distributed among the 13 colonies as proof that the revolution was really going to happen. It was in fine-to-near-mint condition.

Prior to that copy turning up, there were only (I think) a couple of dozen known copies in existence. It brought over $2m at auction.

I find pennies all the time. Seems most people are too lazy to pick them up. Not me. I put them in my sorting coin bank where they go into paper rolls. Along with all my other coins, I usually drop around $100 a year into my bank account.

I found a $100 bill in a casino payout machine a few months ago. That's the biggie in my lifetime.
