A sidebar was a list of the top fatty food for each of the 50 states. It didn't scare me off. It just made want to make a full USA tour to sample these delicacies! e.g.the Decatur, Ga "Luther Burger" (beef, bacon, cheese, glazed donut bun - all my favorite baaaad food groups). My salvation is that I can't afford the trip!
The south is strongly represented, no surprise, I guess. Nothing on the west coast, where we eat tofu before running 40 miles every morning before work...

Not surprised to see Louisiana on the list--Popeye's fried chicken (especially their spicy variety) is some of the best chicken around.
The only surprise to me was Maryland. I expected all the goober states.
