BILL CRIDER'S POP CULTURE MAGAZINE
I can hear the outrage emanating from North Tonawanda from here.#7 is a tad heavy on the makeup, don't you think?Jeff
'm fond of Sandra Lee. Of course, Nigella Lawson has the best voice.
Nigella only #6? Ridiculous!A.S.
Cat Cora, # 2? Really?I have nothing against her and find her pleasant-looking, but...
I've noticed a distressing trend recently where women on cooking shows are getting progressively blonder and skinnier and showing lots of cleavage. Thank goodness Paula Deen and Ina Garten still have shows. Those women look like they can cook--and eat as well!
Distressing? Deb, they're making food porn there. But, yes, Nigella Lawson looks well-nourished, as well. And Jeff's plaintive cry is quite necessary. I will admit that Gen Anderson, who also will display cleavage quite cheerfully but who is lithely fit rather than starved, would be my own dark horse in this sweepstakes.
Padma Lakshmi, rather more flatteringly for carnivores, at very leastGen Anderson
Flora Cheung, whom Bill has cited previously...While Rachel Allen is just the latest of the eye-catchers on the public-broadcasting Create network in the US...Claudia Bassols of Spain...On the Road Again, like the women of Globe Trekker/Pilot Guides, are probably unfair ringers to introduce here.
And, of course, the SHOOTING STARS video parody of Lawson:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L57BcmGB-E0or hit the name link...
