I like my spicy peppers and have been known to eat whole Jalapenos will dining in the local restaurants. No one will eat my cooking anymore because I rarely fix anything without cayenne pepper or jalapenos. But these seem even a bit much for me.
England would not have been the first place to pop into my head if asked where the hottest chili pepper is grown.
I just bought a bottle of Bhut Jolokia sauce, which recently ousted habaneros from the hottest chile category. I'm skeptical of claims of super-hot for a chile from England - England!! - not exactly a nation known for spicy cuisine.A.S.
