I just bought The Jugger and The Sour Lemon Score over the weekend.

I will save this link for future ref.

Excellent discussion of the novels, and the insights by Westlake are fascinating. I'm usually behind the curve on most things in life, but I was somewhat ahead of the curve of popular acclaim for Richard Stark. I was hooked when I read THE SOUR LEMON SCORE in 1969, quickly mail-ordered the only two earlier titles then still in print (THE SEVENTH and THE BLACK ICE SCORE), and spent the next two years scrounging for the nine then-remaining, then-OP titles. I finally nabbed the last one I lacked (it was THE JUGGER) from a second-hand store a couple of months after Parker returned in DEADLY EDGE.
