Then they need to drop some regular season games or they'll be playing the Championships and Series in the snow.

Someone on TV suggested they add a second wild card team in each division, and have them meet in a one game playoff to decide who continues on. The more I think about that, the more I kind of like it. As for making the first round a best of seven, blech.

I'm for fewer games, not more.

I've heard suggestions of double headers during the regular season. I'd be for that as they ceased that practice years ago when they realized they were losing a ticket price for each one.

My sole experience in a live game was a weekend in Atlanta with a double header on Sunday afternoon. August of 1972, the Braves played the Reds and I got to see Aaron hit # 709.

It could be like hockey, where all but 4 teams make the playoffs. Bad baseball, but good for their self esteem, which is paramount these days.
