I've always loved ROBOT MONSTER. I mean, it's not every day you see a guy in a gorilla costume with a diving bell on its head.

When we saw WOMEN OF THE PREHISTORIC PLANET, Jackie insisted on calling it PLANET OF THE PREHISTORIC WOMEN, which would have been a more interesting premise, I always thought.

Jackie should be in Hollywood, giving them ideas.

VOYAGE TO THE PLANET OF THE PREHISTORIC WOMEN came out the next year, 1966. I have a sneaking fondness for WOMEN OF THE PREHISTORIC PLANET, mostly for the attractiveness of the cast...as opposed to Mamie Van Doren in the later release, not quite up to Irene Tsu and Merry Anders...and for the trademark pathos of Auteur Arthur C. Pierce's script and direction. He was truly the Shyamalan of his time.

Oh, funny is what that was supposed to be, rather than annoyingly jejeune. OK.

Or even jejune.
