I'm just back from Houston and Galveston, my first visit to your state, and I found another area in which Texas leads the way. I had never seen so many gentlemen's clubs in my life.

You should have given me a call. We could have visited a "gentlemen's club." I wonder how many actual gentlemen (besides us) we'd have seen.

Are you in the Houston area? I spent a good bit of my time at Murder by the Book.

Apropos the profusion of gentlemen's clubs, I was told that Texas girls are special. I was told this by a Texas girl.

She was right. And I live near Houston and Galveston. We had dinner in Galveston Saturday night, in fact.

Dang! We had an early dinner (or late lunch) in Galveston on Saturday evening, at that restaurant right across the street from the opera house. Where did you eat?

You must have eaten at the Saltwater Grill. We had dinner at Gaido's.

I have written to my Houston source for the name of the restaurant. I shall report back with the results.
