Karaoke Lounge 10 Awesomely Terrible 90’s One-Hit Wonders

I pretty much missed out on '90s music, but I've heard three of these.

"I Touch Myself" is a sensitive exploration of a woman's sexuality. How it found its way on this list is a mystery to me...

Plus, it was used to great effect in the "cross-mojo-ization" scene in the first Austin Powers movie.

Aren't all 90's hits terrible by definition?

Hay, I like Meredith Brooks' "Bitch", have since it came out. Some of these are woofers all right, but not that one.

"I Touch Myself" is a really catchy tune married to some clever but cringe-inducing lyrics. Of course, I think it's great.

"Tubthumper" likewise hardly the worst song of any time-period...the Divinyls and Chumbawamba both deserved hits, and oddly got them. Just because "Tubthumper" is nearly the weakest song on its album doesn't make it bad, just slight...and Chumbawamba was always about as much about Elvis and disco as punk, though certainly anarchist. "I'm Too Sexy" or "How Bizarre" are indeed more inane.
