I Just Took this Quiz

I got all the answers. No wonder. It's incredibly simple. The surprising thing, however, is that I did better than 90% of the public. That doesn't make me feel smart. It just kind of makes me wonder about the rest of the people who took the test.

I got one wrong, better than 80% of the public. It is a little worrisome.

I got them all. It scares me to think that I'm smarter than anyone.

I got 11 out of 12, but when I checked the answers I found that I checked "True" when I intended to check "False." So I "really" got all 12 correct.

Honest.

I missed 2, but I wasn't certain on them. Concerning the statement that they were "simple" reminds me of the definition of an easy question; it's one for which you know the answer.

I also got 100%. I'm no science whiz, but I like to read and stay informed. These questions don't require scientific knowledge so much as general awareness of what's going on in the world. What's even more surprising (and scary) to me is that .5% of test takers got NO answers correct. I would have thought that even if you were guessing every answer, you'd get at least one right just by happenstance. (Now, someone with a math background can explain why, according to probability theory, my guess is not valid.)

Ha-ha. Good one, Gerard. On second blush, and when I consider the state of the world today, I realize that I'm a hell of a lot smarter than most of the world. I'm just modest, and damn proud of it.
