...The Sci-Fi Channel keeps trying, though. The cheap CGI in their cable movies is almost as bad as the papier-mache monsters in the old Corman drive-in movies. And it is truly painful to see aging, one-time-hot-kids like Kelly McGillis and Michael Pare trapped in the wreckage.

I agree, Fred. McGillis couldn't even save the one with the giant alligator.

No she couldn't. To coin a phrase: it sucked.

There was one on Sunday with Stephen Baldwin but I draw the line at him. Even a plausible-sounding plot ("The seemingly tranquil waterways of Venice are terrorized by the perfect killing machine.") couldn't get me to watch Shark in Venice.
