Whip Wilson's movies were very low budget, but entertaining.

I loved 'em when I was a kid.

Andy Clyde, like Fuzzy St. John, was another of those short subject stars from the silent movies who became western movie sidekicks.

i can see why whip wilson never made it as a western star. he has about as much charisma as a pharmacist.

in a 30 second trailer he sings a song to another man about staying by his side if he loves him. he ambushes two galloping riders from behind with a bullwhip while hes on foot and manages to get the drop on both of them. in an effort to secure his catch the wound bullwhip falls off his shoulder a few times and he has to hoist it back up there and his two quarry must b e even slower than he is, they just look at him fumbling around and wait to be arrested. we learn there are going to be "split-second thrills." that's probly how long each of them lasted too. split seconds. then a few hours of tedium.
