Big Brother Lives in California Now

California wants to control home thermostats - International Herald Tribune: "SAN FRANCISCO: The conceit in the 1960s show 'The Outer Limits' was that outside forces had taken control of your television set.

Next year in California, state regulators are likely to have the emergency power to control individual thermostats, sending temperatures up or down through a radio-controlled device that will be required in new or substantially modified houses and buildings to manage electricity shortages."

99% of the people in california come from a warmer climate south of us so they wont have a problem with any of this.

I heard this discussed and the problem stems from so many people pre-setting their air conditioners to switch on so their houses will be cool when they return home from work, which cause power problems. With this system the power company can stagger these surges. And fill your hosue with LSD mist.
