Sitting in JFK Airport

JetBlue has free wifi, and our flight is delayed. I guess this is good news/bad news. I knew when I saw the weather this morning that a delay was likely, but when I checked with JetBlue, the flight was on time. Now that I'm here, it's delayed. Figures. Here's a cheerful shot of me in my tux to brighten the day.

Looking pretty dapper there. You ought to start using this photo for your jacket pic. Maybe you'll get more noms.

Making the uninformed call (I haven't read the other entries), I'd have to say the judges goofed.

I appreciate the thought, but the judges know best.

Judges know best, my ass. Not MWA judges. Remember the Lachman debacle from a few years back? Not to mention just two nominees in the Critical/Biographical category this year. TWO! Time for someone to call bullshit on this. It's just not working.

stilwell

You may remove this post if you feel that it is inappropriate.

But your tie is really, really great.

If there's ever a call for a Texas answer to 007 - and I don't know why there hasn't been - we now know who should top the list.

You look mighty spiffy, Bill, but you'd better loosen your tie. Your face looks beet red, like you're choking.

Maybe the photo is after the reception.

The light was probably bad, but I did get many nice comments on the tie. All from guys, I believe. The women mostly rolled their eyes.

I like the tie!

I agree with Vince. Definitely 007 Texas style.

Thanks, Livia! I thought the tie was the highlight of the Edgar reception, myself.
