I'm in EQMM (sort of)

In a comment below, Todd Mason reminds me that Ed Gorman has started a new column, "Blog Bytes, in the current issue of Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine. I'm pleased and proud that he chose to mention this blog in the inaugural column, along with Sarah Weinman's blog, CrimeSpot, and Mystery*File.

Allow me to be the first to say: Boo-yah!

Yeah, for both of us.

Happy to have been a memory-jogger, then. Was it one of the contributors to the new issue who claims to have raised an alligator (just to tie another thread in here) in what sounds like a bay window for fifteen years? I suppose that beats Crockett...though I find it beyond Tall and into Oddly Blatantly False a tale.

Ah, well. And be sure to monitor the ever-vigilant film "under" my name's hotlink, if you haven't already...

Yes, indeed. A contributor of a nice swampy tale is the alligator-raiser.

Hmm, taking another look at the cover I see that Clark Howard has a story in this issue. Another reason to pick it up (I'm not a subscriber).

Time to send off a check to be sure you get every issue from now on.
