Hurricane Rita Update

At 10:00 a.m. Rita took another little jog to the northeast. Bad news for folks up the coast, good news for me. If the storm continues to track in that direction, we might be OK, after all.

The highways out of Houston look like a scene from a bad disastrophe flick. Every time I see a picture, I'm glad I stayed here.

Keep those good thoughts going.

Hey, Bill. Larry and I decided to stay put. Sent our daughter west to San Antonio. She left at 4:15 this morning. By 11:45, she wasn't even at Columbus and didn't have enough gas to make it to San Antone, and no stations had gas along the way. We told her to come home. In forty minutes, she was home. Hope you and Judy make it okay.
