Road House 2

'Hollow Man,' 'Road House' sequels in works - Yahoo! News: "'Road House 2' centers on a graduate student who must run his uncle's bar and fight to maintain control as a local crime boss tries to take it over. Johnathon Schaech has an offer to star, and Scott Ziehl ('Cruel Intentions 3') is in negotiations to direct. An August shoot is being eyed."

It just won't be the same without Patrick Swayze.

All I can say is... It's about time.

I'm with you, Bill. Without Patrick's zen stylings and Ben Gazzara's over the top antics (remember the wheels on his monster truck?) it just won't be the same.

Maybe Patrick will do a cameo at least (hope, hope)?

ROAD HOUSE is the freeway accident of movies... no matter how hard I try, every time it's on, I have to slow down and look.

There was a stageplay version of ROAD HOUSE with Taimak (star of Berry Gordy's THE LAST DRAGON) wearing a blond wig in the Patrick Swayze role.

One exchange is burned on my memory.

DRUNK DUDE: Hey, how about you and me get nipple to nipple?

BUXOM BLONDE: I can do that all by myself.

Which conjured up a pretty strange image, it has to be said.

This won't go in my brain.
